Empowering Change Through Action

The Herrnstein Family Foundation is driven by the conviction that lasting impact comes from people working in close partnership with the communities they serve.  We primarily fund programs in global health, education, and conservation, supporting both on-the-ground initiatives and the rigorous scientific research that informs them.

We also believe strongly in capacity building and support a variety of educational initiatives for people of all ages and backgrounds, both internationally and domestically.  Across our work, we take a long-term view, recognizing that meaningful progress is built gradually through collaboration, consistency, and respect for the places and people involved.
